Our treatment plans are specific to each patient and involve a thorough understanding of the patients wound, co-morbidities, and underlying root cause. We pride ourselves on educating the patient and having active patient involvement in their treatment plans. Our initial assessment of the patient will include a comprehensive understanding of their nutrition status, biomechanical/ pressure imbalances, vascular status, wound type and classification, infection status and more. This initial assessment allows us to understand the current status of the wound and what may be the root cause so we can tailor treatment plans to not only heal the wound but address the underlying root cause of the wound to hopefully prevent recurrence.
